twenty-four pieces.
no seasons.

the idea

est. 2017

we make twenty-four pieces.we have never made a twenty-fifth.

The hem of the ines dress mid-step, dead-stock silk swinging above bare feet
11 / 24 · worn, not retired

when a piece improves, the old cut goes to the archive and the new one keeps its name. the agnes coat is on its third cut since 2019. same name, better coat.

you buy once. we repair it for as long as you wear it. free. we do not ask for a receipt.

that is the whole idea.

material & repair

wool · cotton · silk

three cloths.one needle.

the edda knit, close enough to count the yarn

the wool is recycled in prato, sorted by colour before it is spun, so nothing gets dyed twice. the cotton is organic, woven for us at one mill near porto we visit every march. the silk is dead stock, bought in small lots from houses that ordered too much. when a lot runs out, the ines dress waits for the next one.

repairs are free for life. post the piece to bredgade 24, or bring it in. most mends come back within ten days, sewn in matching thread. or, if you ask, in a thread that shows.

improved pieces keep their name. owners of any cut keep full repairs.

notes

01–02

we have written twice

we write when something is decided. the collection has not changed, so there has not been much to report.

01/02

twenty-four pieces, and why the number never changes

a season is a deadline someone else invented. we removed it, and then had to live with what was left.

Woven cotton at extreme magnification, raking light picking out every thread of the weave
02/02

what a permanent collection asks of the cloth

a garment you will still sell in nine years cannot be made from a fabric that only has to survive a season.

appointments

one hour · no purchase expected

one hour. one room.the pieces you asked for.

the room above the atelier on bredgade holds two chairs, a mirror and a rail. we bring what you name, in three sizes, and nothing else — no rack to browse, no assistant hovering.

in stockholm, berlin and antwerp we borrow a room from the stockist. same hour, same rail.

you are not expected to buy anything.

a concept build. nothing is sent.
