Frequently asked questions.
What the monthly fee buys, who does the work, how often it ships, what you own, and where we're not the right fit. All answered straight, in terms you can check on this site rather than promises about results.
How it works
What exactly do I get for one monthly fee?
One senior software engineer running your website, your Meta and Google ads, your AI automations and a content engine built for Google rankings and AI-search citation. Something new ships every week.
You're not paying for a finished project or a static retainer. You're paying for a system that compounds. Every week we ship something that moves a real number: a new landing page, an ad iteration, a published article, an automation that takes a recurring task off your team. Everything lives inside SharpOS, the workspace that ships with your subscription, so you can see what's been done without scheduling a meeting. That is the picture from Growth up, where all four services run together and the tiers differ in how much content and how many channels they cover, with Custom adding separate software built for your operations. Foundation is the narrower plan underneath it: the website and its blog, built to an agreed scope and then hosted and looked after. See the Plans page for the detail.
How fast does work actually ship?
Every week. That's the cadence, not a milestone you wait for. You see each change inside SharpOS as it lands.
The operating model is a weekly loop, not a quarterly campaign: Plan. Build. Iterate. Each week we agree on the next thing to ship, build it, measure what it moved, and stack the next iteration on top. That's why the work compounds: instead of waiting six months for a redesign reveal, you watch one system get sharper every week.
Who actually does the work?
Gabriel Espinheira, the founder. A senior software engineer who built inside large product companies before founding SharpHaw.
No account managers. No junior staff learning on your account. No salespeople who can't answer a technical question. The engineer who built the system is the one shipping your work and the one you'll talk to next week. A tight contractor stack supports specific specialisms (paid media buying, motion, copy editing). Gabriel runs the strategy, the engineering, and the weekly cadence directly.
You're one person. What happens if you're ill, or you disappear?
One person is the trade. You get the senior engineer directly, and you carry the risk of a single supplier. So every term is written so that leaving is cheap and orderly.
The downside first: a week where Gabriel is ill is a week that ships less, and there is no bench to hide that behind. What there is instead is a set-up where an absence can't cost you what's already built. Your accounts stay yours throughout: domain, ad accounts, analytics, content. Nothing of yours is locked in a format you can't export, everything in SharpOS exports, and the subscription is month-to-month, so if the cadence isn't there you cancel that month and your side of it leaves with you.
Pricing and terms
What is in Foundation, and what is not?
A complete institutional website at €1.000/month, with a blog of its own: built to a scope agreed before work starts, then hosted, kept up to date and looked after, with SharpOS included.
In it: your business information, your services and your contact forms, laid out to read properly on phones as well as laptops, plus a blog you write and publish in yourself — the place to tell your company's story, show what you actually know, and build a brand people have a reason to trust. Once the site is live the same fee covers keeping it online and up to date, and small text and photo changes whenever you ask. Hosting is part of that: there is no separate bill for it, and nothing for you to set up or renew. SharpOS comes with it at no separate platform charge, so the enquiries your contact forms collect land in a workspace you can work them in. There is no setup or website-creation fee, no minimum commitment, and cancellation any month without a penalty. Not in it: us writing the blog posts or the social content, ads management, custom automation development, online shops and bespoke operational software — those sit in the higher plans or need their own scope assessment. The scope of the website itself is agreed with you first; there is no page count, monthly-change allowance or delivery date that applies to everyone. What Foundation is not is a cheaper version of the full service, and it is not a trial: it is a smaller amount of work, useful on its own, and SharpOS is not restricted to push you up a tier.
Am I locked into an annual contract?
No. Every SharpHaw plan is month-to-month. Cancel any month with no penalty.
An annual term protects the supplier, not the buyer: it converts a bad quarter into a bill you keep paying. SharpHaw publishes the fees on the website and bills month to month on purpose. If the work isn't compounding, you should be able to leave, and you can.
Are there hidden fees to start?
No. No discovery fee, no setup invoice, no minimum term.
Billing is monthly, month to month. Move up, down, or out any month. On Foundation there is no setup or website-creation fee either: the build is inside the subscription. The Plans page publishes the fees: Foundation €1.000/month, Growth €2.500/month and Scale €4.000/month, with Custom scoped on the call. All plus VAT, with no annual contract.
What happens to my stuff if I leave?
Your domain, brand, content, SharpOS data and ad accounts. All of it leaves with you, and the website stays live for two months while we do it.
Cancellation starts an export plan rather than a cut-off: the site keeps serving for two months while we hand over with documentation, and there is no exit fee. Inside SharpOS, pages export to markdown, board cards export to structured data, and assets can be archived. A fully static HTML export of the site can be agreed as part of that handover, which is the pages as flat files, not the dynamic site or SharpOS. What does not transfer is the engine underneath: the website code, the automations, the custom software, the infrastructure and SharpOS itself are SharpHaw property, kept running and improved as part of the fee.
Is ad spend included in the fee?
No, and neither is AI model usage in SharpOS Support. Both are billed to you by the provider, never rebilled by us.
Campaign management, the technical setup and the ad content and creative are all inside the subscription. The media itself is not: you agree the budget with us, grant access through Meta Business, and Meta or Google bills your own account. SharpHaw never collects or rebills ad spend, and the ad accounts stay yours. The same line runs through SharpOS Support: where AI replies are switched on, you supply your own OpenAI or OpenRouter key and choose a suitable small model, so the usage is billed to your provider account with budgets and limits set to control it. SharpOS itself is included at every tier with no separate workspace fee.
Who sells and invoices the service?
Gabriel Espinheira, operating under the SharpHaw brand.
SharpHaw is Gabriel's practice rather than a holding company with an account team behind it. He works as an independent professional in Portugal, issues the receipts himself, and takes payment through Stripe. The person who invoices you is the person who does the work.
Ownership and SharpOS
Will I own my website?
Your domain, your brand, your content, your data, your ad accounts and your analytics are yours from day one, and they leave with you. The code that runs the site is SharpHaw property.
That is the subscription line, drawn in writing rather than discovered at exit: you rent the machine, you never rent your own business back. The engine underneath — the website code, the automations, the custom software, the infrastructure and SharpOS — stays SharpHaw property and is kept running and improved as part of the fee, rather than handed over and left to rot. Everything on your side of that line is genuinely yours: there are no hostage logins, and nothing of yours sits in a format you cannot export.
Is SharpOS a separate SaaS product?
No. SharpOS is bundled with every SharpHaw subscription. It is part of how the service works, not a separate tool sale.
It's included at every tier, with no separate workspace fee. Access is workspace-based, never per-seat priced. The one thing billed outside it is AI model usage in Support, which runs on your own provider key if you switch it on.
Does SharpOS replace our CRM, CMS, or ad accounts?
No. Your core systems of record stay where they are.
SharpOS is the workspace where the work is planned, tracked and reported. Pages, boards, audits, analytics, media and CRM context in one place.
Fit and proof
Is SharpHaw the right fit for my business?
If you run a European business with a site that has traffic but doesn't convert, ad spend that isn't returning, or content that's stalled, then yes.
SharpHaw is built for owners who've outgrown freelancers and don't want to hire a full marketing team yet, and for larger companies and e-commerce businesses that need more content and more channels than one supplier usually carries. It serves businesses across Europe, in English and in Portuguese with the founder directly. It is not the right fit if you're shopping on price, want a one-off project with no follow-through, need a source-code handover, or need a 50-person agency org chart. The call is free. If it's not a fit, we'll say so on it.
I already work with a freelancer or an agency. Is a call worth it?
Only if you want an honest read on what you've already got. The call is a conversation, not a pitch to replace whoever you're working with.
The thirty minutes run the same way whether or not you become a client: where you are today, what's slowing growth, and what looks worth doing first. It is a conversation rather than a written audit, and no fix list is promised at the end of it. If one slice is broken and the rest is working, a specialist is the better buy, and we'll say so rather than sell around it.
Do you have testimonials or case studies?
Not yet. And we'd rather be straight about that than show logos we can't back.
The honest proof we do have is our own blog (every post dated and founder-bylined, quiet months included), the published Plans page, and the live SharpOS workspace. And thirteen working case builds you can open and use: invented companies, real code, disclosed as such on the page.
